Sibling Love
One of my favorite moments of my life is hanging out with my siblings. It truly makes me so happy to sit around a table of food and reminisce on our childhood. I remember many summers watching MTV with our neighborhood friends while both of our parents worked. I can't believe we took care of ourselves at ages 12, 11, and 6.
I truly feel grateful to have siblings to do life with.
I met this sweet family after being referred to do a maternity family session. They were so fun to photograph all of these years and I cherish these images of their family as much as I imagine they do. In fact, I've photographed them for about 7 years since mama was pregnant with baby #2. Each year they get more exciting to capture and I can see just how much fun they have together, reminding me of the fun I had with my siblings.
I'm sure that it helps in some way I that I've become somewhat familiar to them. It doesn't take much time to loosen up if you've already met me...we now just move right into fun. You might even recognize the kids skipping in a field on my home page. Here they are through the years.
